Role
Own the real-time fire control software. Deterministic, safety-critical code path from track correlation through pointing commands to beam-on, hard latency budgets, zero undefined states.
Responsibilities
Real-time fire control loop: track fusion, engagement logic, turret commands, interlock enforcement
Deterministic scheduling on embedded Linux / RTOS, sub-millisecond latency
Safe-state machines, watchdog logic, fault handling for laser activation path
Integrate EO/IR, radar, IMU/GNSS through fire control pipeline
HiTL test harnesses and automated regression for safety-critical paths
Support live fire tests, triage anomalies end-to-end
Qualifications
4+ years in embedded / real-time systems (defence, aerospace, robotics, automotive ASIL)
Own power + control electronics end-to-end, high-power laser diode drivers, custom PCBs, power distribution, sensing, telemetry. Design, prototype, field-test for vibration, dust, temperature swings.
Responsibilities
High-power DC/DC stages, power distribution, high-current regulation for laser drivers
System integration, the glue that makes sensing, tracking, controls, and telemetry operate as one field-ready platform. Boundary of code and hardware: latency, synchronisation, robustness, bring-up.
Responsibilities
Integrate sensors, tracking, control, turret interfaces into real-time system
Time sync, message flows, deterministic telemetry across distributed nodes
Real-time drone detection and classification (YOLO v8/v9/v11 + SAHI)
Own the sensor fusion layer, integrate radar, EO/IR, and RF detection into a unified track pipeline feeding fire control. Bridge physics and software: calibration, latency, environmental performance.
Responsibilities
Integrate EO/IR dual-band and radar into detection and tracking pipeline
Sensor fusion algorithms for multi-modal track correlation
Programme execution across NATO partner engagements, NSPA/EDA frameworks, bilateral MoD programmes, joint demos. Own timelines, deliverables, compliance gates.
Responsibilities
End-to-end programme delivery across NATO partners and procurement frameworks
Programme plans, milestones, risk registers, status reporting
